Meditation, what is the goal?

Hey what's this crazy Irish man saying haha.

Ok let me explain. People talk a lot about peace, quiet or silence in meditation. We all need peace sometimes. The thing is if we have peace and or quiet, we get attached to it. I remember one time i was in a Buddhist temple in Scotland. I came out of meditation and sneezed. The man opposite turned round and looked at me angrily. Who did the wrong thing? The thing to take from this is not to get attached to peace in meditation. We have to realize the blank mind you see your thoughts appear in , is the goal. Yes, never mind concentrating well, the goal is right in front of you. The greatest truth of Self or Buddha nature, is your mind nature. Our mind is the universe itself, you don't realize it. There is one vast mind made of many little minds. That blank mind space is the ground of everything in our 3d world. When you realize this, you take a step forward along the path of the sages.

Meditation is meant for Self-realization
