Demiurge - what is it?
In classic Gnosis (1st century onward) the Demiurge was the son of Sophia. It was the creator of the universe who forgot his origin and declared himself the supreme ruler.
Non dual Gnosis translation
I reveal the Demiurge as the universal mind (a shared mind of all beings and the physical universe). This mind hides the eternal monad (the God).

The Demiurge is the connection or matrix of form, time and space. It is the 5-dimensional covering that hides the eternal Monad (God) from us. Both the material and astral worlds are made of 5 dimensions, but the astral does not have physical matter. We don’t know the eternal nature, and therefore we only know the 5-dimensional worlds, we are ignorant of Gnosis. We believe all the stories and remain in darkness. So because we don’t know the eternal, we don’t know we are in the Demiurge.
